Discussion Description: Being the first security company to jump into the managed services space has caught a lot of companies by surprise. It really made the industry pay attention to what we are doing. The buzz initially was all about Security and Managed Services. But the story goes well beyond that. Try Security, with RMM, and NOC/HD. Now this took the industry by storm and is a game changer for anyone looking to make a switch or move into the MSP arena. AVG is carving its own niche in the market place very quickly. It’s very easy to see that RMM on its own is no longer an option. It’s very expensive and inefficient to support different solutions. What I have been hearing about for so many years is that customers want different products under one umbrella. Last I looked, AVG is the only company to offer an array of products where the MSP only has to deal with one company, one support, and one bill.
Our AVG Cloud Care portfolio offers MSP’s with the ability to purchase AV, AntiSpam, Back-up, Content Filtering, Email archive and Encrypted Mail. Managed Workplace is our RMM with deep level Monitoring, Management, Automation, Managed Print, Mobility, Reporting, etc etc. Then, do you want some NOC or Helpdesk. No need to outsource anymore because we do that as well. Yes we really do!
These are very exciting times for AVG as we become the industry standard for services to the MSP industry and we love being in the driver’s seat. It makes us very Unique!!!!!!
Speaker Bio: Vince LaPietra recently joined AVG as Sales Manager, North America, and is based in the AVG Canada office in Ottawa, Ontario. With over 20 years of experience in sales leadership, Vince brings Sales and Managed Service Provider expertise to AVG and is responsible for implementing and managing all sales processes, delivering on established company revenue targets, and growth of AVG Security and Remote Management Tools. Vince and his team are also responsible for driving adoption, focusing on new partner acquisition, and increasing usage of AVG CloudCare and AVG Managed Workplace amongst Managed Service Providers (MSPs) throughout North America.
Prior to AVG, Vince spent nine years as a top Sales Executive with N-able Technologies, Inc., working with the IT Service Provider channel selling Managed Services solutions and advising partners on strategies to grow their monthly recurring services revenue . During his time with N-able, Vince established himself as a trusted advisor to over 1500 MSP partners and made significant contributions to N-able’s success, as well as the overall shaping of the MSP space as a whole. A consistent performer, he was awarded the Presidents Club honor five times and led the Sales board year after year. Vince was instrumental in developing a new strategy to assist VoIP providers adopt the managed services model and establish a new vertical market in which to sell.
Vince has held Sales and Finance Management Roles with Bell Canada, Scotiabank and Marconi PLC, and holds Commerce and Economics degrees from the University of Ottawa.
